Explore the North is a family owned company located in Swedish Lapland, working with adventure tourism all year round. The company currently operates six lodges: Lapland View Lodge in Övertorneå, Pinetree Lodge in Särkimukka, Arctic River Lodge in Tärendö, Grand Arctic Resort in Överkalix, Aurora Mountain Lodge in Lannavaara and Matarengi Lodge in Övertorneå. Explore the North has a staff of approximately 55 permanent employees and a further 160 seasonal employees during the winter.
