But we have to take account of her school holidays. her christmas holiday runs from 27/12 till 9/01 and her carnival holidays from7/03 till 13/03. Hi friends!!! We are Valentina and Diego, the italian couple, we had a 2 days husky-safari in december, before Christmas. How are you? Sara, Joha, Tilda, Daniel, Mika, Kati...??? Our holiday in Sweden was the best holiday we have never had, a fantastic experience, really magic!!!...And you were so friendly and very nice people...we miss you!!! What a magnificent trip....here is an excerpt from the story we have written for a travel magazine back in New Zealand.... ".....Not even the most poetic and eloquent English could begin to describe the raw splendour and beauty of the scene that confronts you. We were blessed with skies of brilliant azure and dazzling sunshine that accentuate the snow draped foliage with deep shadows and saturated shades of green. The snow sparkles with the clarity of millions of brilliant diamond fragments scattered beneath your sled. Amongst all of this you become acutely aware of the silence. It is absolute. There are no sounds to confuse the swish of your sled on ice and the patter of dog’s paws. The air dosen’t move in the silent north. There is no wind. Utterly, unnervingly still. There are no birds, no sounds of civilization, no vapour trails in the sky. Just you with your huskies and nature, gliding silently over frozen lakes and through forests blanketed in pristine snow.
